Overview:
When a vendor has inserted their password incorrectly 3 or more times, then they will get this error. The device will allow the vendor to retry inserting their password after 40 minutes, but should they need immediate access to their device, then they would need to reset their password.
Before asking the vendor to reset their password, please make sure that they have access to the cell phone number listed on their account. As part of our security measures, we send them a reset code via sms to the number that is listed on their account.
How to reset the password:
1) On the login screen, click on FORGOT PASSWORD (displayed under the login button)
2) Enter your username (deposit reference number)
3) Vendor will now be set a reset code via sms
4) Once you have received the reset code, click on I HAVE A RESET CODE
5) Enter the reset code
6) Insert new password
7) Confirm new password
8) Click on NEXT
Your password would now be updated and you may sign in to your account and continue vending.
