Overview:

This error means that your device is struggling to connect to the internet for one reason or the other. The host name that you are trying to connect to, may be incorrect or has not been entered. In some cases it is also due to poor network quality in your area. This is a simple problem that can be solved in a simple way. 



How to fix it:

1) Go to SETTINGS 

2) Click on NETWORK AND INTERNET

3) Click on MOBILE NETWORK 

4) Click on ADVANCED 

5) Click on ACCESS POINT NAMES 

6) Change the selected APN to the one relevant to your mobile service provider 

7) Restart the device 

8) Check the signal strength icon to determine if the network is now connected
