Overview:
Screen lock is a security feature that prevents unauthorized use of the device. Sometimes these locks gets plagued and then you would not be able to unlock your screen. You will need to erase it, before you are able to access to your device.
How to remove the screen lock:
1) Turn the device off
2) Press the POWER button and VOLUME UP button (Hold for 3 seconds)
3) Release the POWER button after these 3 seconds, while still pressing the VOLUME UP button.
4) After 5 seconds have passed, then release the VOLUME UP button
5) Wait for a few seconds until you see "press power key to reboot device" (When you see this message, continue to step 6)
6) Press volume button (left, right, left, right, left left, right right)
7) The device will now be in recovery mode
8) Select WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
9) Select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
10) After the system has rebooted, please wait for 15 minutes.
11) Press the power key to turn on the device
